Day !

Hello there.

I'm not really sure how one would start a blog. They'd probably talk quite pretty and try to introduce themselves without being too obvious about it.

So how should I introduce myself? You know my name is Lilly (I think). I don't want to give anything specific because it really doesn't matter. I will tell you that I'm going to college next year. Now if you're 24 (maybe 25) or older you're thinking something along the lines of: Don't really care about this little girl's life... And that's fine if you're thinking that. My underlying point(s) of creating a blog are

I want to be a writer. And I think that having a place to write at all times, even if it's nothing too creative, is practical.
&
It's good having an outlet when things piss you off.

Something else about me... I love my doggie, Charlie. She's a mutt, but I hope to have a Golden Retriever or German Shepherd one day.

Right now as I type on this lovely Friday afternoon, my step-father is mowing the lawn--so hopefully we'll be able to see where we need to dodge the Charlie droppings. My little sister is still at school (elementary). My mom is at work, but she usually works from home on Fridays (giving me the use of the car).

I'm getting tummy-ache from being hungry. I love to eat. I'm 5' 7" (or is it 5" 7'?) and 115ish lbs, so when I say I love to eat, I'm not fat. Haha. My best friend is overweight, and that's okay until she gets type 2 diabetes.

A few other facts... I'll probably be writing about some casual day-to-day events but also ranting about my Mother and Step-Father being complete idiots. Although it won't be too "loud" because I won't have access to the computer if I'm in a argument with them (take comfort in that). I might post a few poems or ideas about short stories on here, so please feel free (or ahem obligated) to comment. Just kidding about the obligated part :).

During my next few posts I'll include a little more about myself and such.
Now I'll start reading some other blogs so I don't feel like a hypocrite for wanting people to read mine when I've read none. I'll add the count of how many entries I've read on my blog every once and a while..
